We got McKinley from Southern Comfort Vizslas
in Florida. He was the first one born in a litter of
11 on July 2, 2007. He caught my eye from the
start as a newborn and when I got there he would
come to the side of the ex-pen and raise up
every time I went by. His mother is CH.
Lagniappe's Chosen One JH and the sire is FC
Tommy Boy.
He started in the conformation ring at 6 months
and finished his championship at 14 months with
3 majors.
He also ran in a couple of field trials this year
more as a learning experience than anything. He
had a second place Open Derby finish in the
TGCVC field trial. He is now in training for
running in broke dog stakes in the fall and is
doing well in his training. He recently place 1st in
the GSP trial of Atlanta and has 4 retrieving
points and a major on the way to his DC.
