We got McKinley from Southern Comfort Vizslas in
Florida. He was the first one born in a litter of 11 on
July 2, 2007. He caught my eye from the start as a
newborn and when I got there he would come to the
side of the ex-pen and raise up every time I went
by. His mother is DC Lagniappe's Chosen One SH
and the sire is FC Tommy Boy.
He started in the conformation ring at 6 months and
finished his championship at 14 months with 3
majors.
McKinley is now running in broke dog stakes and is
doing well. He recently placed 1st in the GSP trial of
Atlanta and has 4 retrieving points and a major on
the way to his DC. After coming home to rest for the
summer, I took him to a few trials. He had a 4th
place in AGD at the TBVC field trial and a 1st place
AGD win at the ISCA field trial for a 3 point major.
Now he has 7 points towards his DC and 3 towards
his AFC. I really had a good time running him.
Jamie Fountain has done a great job getting him
ready for me to run.
